Karri has served as the Membership Director for the Bozeman Area Chamber of Commerce since September 2004. During Karri's tenure, she has been recognized by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), as a top performer in membership sales. In 2006-2007 ACCE recognized Karri for having the 5th highest total number of new membership sales and 9th highest in 2007-2008 with the 6th highest reported in total revenue for both years. ACCE recently recognized Karri as 5th highest in total revenue and 7th highest for new membership sales for the 2008-2009 awards year. Karri recently completed her second year at Institute for Organization Management (Institute), an intensive week-long non profit leadership program. In addition to driving membership recruitment and retention, Karri serves as the Chamber liaison for the Wednesday morning leads group, Membership Services Committee, Green Coat Ambassador’s and Leadership Bozeman Program. Prior to joining the Chamber, Karri managed her own direct sales business, where she was a senior trainer, supervising over 150 women. During that time, she received numerous prestigious awards, including top recruiter in the nation. Karri has also been a member of the Bozeman Business Professional Women's Organization and currently a member of the Belgrade Booster Club. Karri was raised on a ranch in Eastern Montana and was very active in 4-H and athletics. She graduated from Terry High School and later pursued a two-year legal secretary certificate at Montana State University. While completing her schooling at MSU, Karri worked at a law firm in Bozeman. She has also worked for the U.S. Forest Service, serving as the support services specialist at the Judith Ranger District where she was responsible for the budget and personnel matters for the district. Karri has two children, Briana and Kelton, and is married to Ron Clark. Together, the family enjoys many activities including camping, boating, skiing, wake boarding, snow skiing and occasional visits to the family ranch in Eastern Montana.
